Avonix Imaging is excited to announce the addition of Chris Peitsch as the Business Development Manager for our X-ray / CT System product lines!
Chris joins us with industry leading experience in X-ray / CT Technology and his Personal Character is an excellent model of our ACE Core Values.
Chris has been a passionate contributor to industrial CT for nearly ten years. He began his career at Chesapeake Testing in 2010, where he helped create an inspection service laboratory focused on X-ray CT for defense and industrial applications. His experience in building and managing a large service laboratory, and exposure to a very wide range of CT applications, led him to earn a deep appreciation for the methods and technology of industrial CT. In 2017, Chris joined the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics laboratory where he developed quantitative CT imaging and analysis techniques to advance research in additive manufacturing, extreme materials, and complex electronic circuit analysis.
Chris earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a M.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Delaware. He is an avid, lifelong local sports fan who resides in Maryland and enjoys spending time with his wife and two young kids. Chris also enjoys traveling to new cities (and countries) and the occasional round of golf.
