Manufacturing Technician
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the assembly, build, integration and testing of our industrial x-ray / CT systems. Level 3 technicians will perform machine build, test and assist with installation. Most work is completed at our Maple Grove, MN facility. Installations are primarily within the United States, however there is opportunity for some international travel. Travel for this position is estimated at 10 to 20%.

Areas of Responsibility
Will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assembly, build and integration of our industrial x-ray / CT systems
- Testing of completed systems
- Troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems
- Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Practice Authenticity and Empathy throughout all communications with customers, vendors, Avonix employees and members of management
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to read assembly prints and electrical schematics
- Automation programming
- Desire to learn and is self motivated
- Well organized and has the determination to deliver exceptional quality workmanship
- Great attention to detail
- Strong computer skills
- Willing and able to travel up to 20%
Experience and Education
Will include, but are not limited to the following:
- A two-year technical degree (or equivalent work experience)
- Two years’ experience in related assembly or machine build technology
Certificates, License, Registrations
Will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured
- US Citizen, Green Card holder or equivalent
- Valid passport and ability to travel outside of the United States
- Candidates must be able to pass a background check as most of our clients require in depth background checks prior to allowing access to the work site.
